Exhaust Question

Presumably there is a mid-pipe between the header section and the muffler. Is that piece the same part number between the full-exhaust system and the slip-on system?

Yes -> you can re-use it and you only need the header section. No -> you need a new piece because the full system's mid-pipe is different in some way (impossible to tell what the difference is without detailed measurements).

The muffler is almost certainly re-usable.

Look at the schmatic on that site:

Muffler part number for that one that comes with the full system: M-Z00505C/1
Muffler part number for slip-on: M-Z03005C

Totally different part numbers. I also priced out the collector, link pipe and headers to build your "full system" and the total came to $1,863! Is that what you're expecting to pay for the full system minus the muffler? Yikes!

It'd probably be best to just sell your slip-on and purchase the full system, that way you know for sure everything will fit.

I thought you were selling your Kawasucki?

Usually the full systems use larger DIA tubing....so event the mufflers are often not interchangeable. For example for a 04/05 ZX10...0r a 636...a FULL ARKA had a 60MM muffler inlet, vs a slip on has only a 52MM inlet.
