Really it will work for 2 weeks? Didn’t we hear that in March 2020
Theoretically a hard lockdown for two weeks works. In practice, even a hard lockdown is not a lockdown as some people really have to work (hospital, water treatment etc). In douggies world where everything is essential, we have never remotely approached a lockdown. It is mostly just harmful theatre and buzz words.

Then why don’t all the lockdown believers stay home and never leave? ....all the smug lecturers are driving around too ....@Bigevildoer says above that people should do the lockdown correctly yet he went to Home Depot....hypocrisy at its finest

Too easy to blame the anti mask freedumb crowd. Thier numbers are relatively small. The hotspots like Peel are the real problem. The federal and provincial governments have totally failed to control the hotspot populations.
They don't want to hurt thier feelings.

100%! Like I said above I still find it hilarious that people are lecturing about doing a lockdown correctly while in the same breath saying they are getting into conflicts with people at Home Depot....The Canadian way ,do what I say not what I do.

America is pretty wide open...you didn’t mention them ....Really it will work for 2 weeks? Didn’t we hear that in March 2020... Do you think maybe the dumb people are the ones who think two weeks lasts for 14 plus months? And sorry you want to do the lockdown correctly and yet you went to Home Depot? Can you explain that logic?
USA has a *MUCH* higher vaccination percentage than in Canada.
I went to Home Depot - yes. Observed all social distancing, masks etc. My SO stayed home, so it was only me leaving the house.
Followed all Ontario guidelines.

From your posts in this and other parts of GTAM, I'm thinking it might be fair to lump you into the Freedumbs crowd,.

I asked him for space clearly and. politely. Yes. the Canadian way.
He started getting beligerent, waving his foot around at me, literally about 2 inches from touching me.
I asked him for space again. HD employees intervened and moved him, all the while telling him about their social distancing policy etc.

Selective comprehension is a dangerous thing. So, I'm out.
Can't have an honest conversation with people who are self-entitled and won't understand logic.

Lockdowns take 18 months of severe don't leave your home for any reason to eradicate a virus. As per every pre-COVID epidimiopolgical study.

This two week crap is just crap, as is the 6ft social distancing rule. Plenty of pre-COVID studies show a minimum of 4 meters is required on the NIH database.

Getting up in arms over people not following rules that were always more political, is kinda funny.

Yes I love freedom...the freedom to read about actual dumb people who cry about correct lockdowns and then act like Karen’s at Home Depot because someone stood too close to them.....genius level 2000 right there.....oh Wait I reread that your SO stayed home. Oh OK then you’re all good because the virus doesn’t spread when one person stays home and the other one goes out. Fantastic logic you should share this with health Canada. P.S best part is seeing @PrivatePilot like your post quoting me....he couldn’t help but unblock me to see what I say again...hilarious...guess he loves me secretly

Getting up in arms about people not following rules while going out to Home Depot and confronting people is the funniest

You’re out because your argument is ridiculous you love lockdowns but you went to Home Depot and confronted someone which is probably way more dangerous than somebody just going out and doing their normal every day to day stuff. Of course you’re out you have nothing to say that will make you look any better. The entitled one is the person lecturing people at Home Depot and lecturing them online about what rules to follow and when.

you can read the response, you just cant read the quotes.

I don’t think you can tag someone who blocked you and I tagged him. Either way who cares it’s all childish playground silliness when you’re blocking people you disagree with.

Ignoring any and all possibly effective measures in the quest to be a dick is not. I agree, much of what we are subjected to is theater more than science however actively violating those rules does nothing constructive.

None of this response by any government was based on sound science. We have people who are "public health" experts overruling what epidemiologists have spent decades figuring out because of the optics in mandating the extreme measures we need.

If we are going to half-ass things, and forsake decades of medical science. Then have so called experts change their mind, based on the wave of vocal opinions, and what politicians want. You'll end up with an equally vocal population that can't put up with constant changes that are "well it's science so it's right!" when spewed by these so called experts. This is a basic human condition to react that way.

While I don't condone these "anti-maskers" and "anti-vaxxers", right here Superveloce shows what lies as the problem with the other extreme, who tells us we all must follow the rules.

"Don't go out! Take COVID seriously! Why are you out?" Well the question becomes, why are they then out? Why is their trip so essential to Home Depot, to Walmart, to the grocery store? There are a dozen delivery options out there, they didn't have to leave their front door the last 14 months. So they have no moral high ground.

Like in politics, both extremes of this argument are reprobates.

I have 1 person blocked on here, not because i care that their opinion differs from mine, i just don't want to see their drivel show up in threads I'm enjoying.

case in point; want to tell me you don't trust the science behind the vaccine? fine. because of this you have no plans to vaccinate anyone in your family? fine. these vaccines are part a globalist socialist agenda to redistribute wealth of the middle class, 5g towers are actually here to reprogram the sheep masses who got DNA altering poison injected into their bodies and Bill Gates is funding all of it? Yeah, ignored.

it's one thing to disagree, it's another to purposely provoke the members here with straight up lunacy (not talking about you).

I dont block people I disagree with. I block a couple obstinate individuals that are clearly driven by beliefs not science. Mainly because you cant have a rational discussion with an irrational person.

It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to put 2+2 together on what stupidity he's referencing.

Is supermctrollface still butthurt and mentioning me?

I'm flattered.

Yawn.

You love me you can’t help it .only you can’t see it.... no one‘s gonna believe you’re psychic powers knew it was me he was quoting.
