So I'm installing a jet kit for my bike and just realized that they sent me a kit for an 00-02zx6r, which I know bolt for bolt minus the fairing stay is the same bike, but then looking at dynojet PDF's the main jet replaced in the zzr is a different code than the zx6r (dj122 main jets for outside carbs and dj124 jets for the inside carbs for zzr, while zx6r kit has dj118 outside carbs and dj120 for the inside). Should I be heading back to the store to complain? Will this damage the bike? Or can I order the proper main jet without having to buy a new kit? Any advice is appreciated
Edit....From what I can gather from the net, it should still work. Jet changes for the 07 zzr kit were made for tougher emission rules in 06 (allegedly) but I've looked up the carbs from the 02 zx6r and the 07 zzr, they both run mikuni 36mm's, so I'm leaning more and more to believing this should work....unless someone has a differing opinion?
