Dynojet kit question - 07 zzr600

So I'm installing a jet kit for my bike and just realized that they sent me a kit for an 00-02zx6r, which I know bolt for bolt minus the fairing stay is the same bike, but then looking at dynojet PDF's the main jet replaced in the zzr is a different code than the zx6r (dj122 main jets for outside carbs and dj124 jets for the inside carbs for zzr, while zx6r kit has dj118 outside carbs and dj120 for the inside). Should I be heading back to the store to complain? Will this damage the bike? Or can I order the proper main jet without having to buy a new kit? Any advice is appreciated :)

Edit....From what I can gather from the net, it should still work. Jet changes for the 07 zzr kit were made for tougher emission rules in 06 (allegedly) but I've looked up the carbs from the 02 zx6r and the 07 zzr, they both run mikuni 36mm's, so I'm leaning more and more to believing this should work....unless someone has a differing opinion?

"Work" or "fit"?? Jet sizes and jet kits are a bit tricky. It doesn't matter that the carbs are the same size..you're adjusting the amount of fuel those carbs are supplying to your engine. They'll likely fit..but are they correct? Well, you're talking 2 jet size change from one kit to the other..the bike will run..but is it the right mixture? Dynotjet takes a stab at giving you the "best" jets for your bike. Unless you know the '02 engine is identical in every way to your engine (cams, timing, valve sizes, exhaust etc) then I'd say the jets are not correct. You paid money..get the correct kit.

These are from the zx6r service manual, which states this is for the zx600J model which is what I have, every service manual I've downloaded online continues to point to this fact as well

Did the kit come with needles as well or any other jets like air or pilot jets? Depending on the bike, the jetting changes based on it's operating parameters. Are the cams, intake and exhaust the same on the 2 models, maybe not, these effect the fuel curve. I'd get the right kit, the store should help you or call Dynojet directly, they will tell you for sure, I hear their tech department is helpfull. You can buy the new jets if thats all that came with the kit, Otherwise you could be trying to fix a flat spot in the rpm range for a long time.

Did u buy that jet locally?
If not why not give them a call to explain their reason. If they confirmed, install away and if it works like crap, return and complain to who u spoke to

I got it from Snow City, those guys are awesome so I'm not gonna complain just yet. Im just gonna do what RG suggests, I'm gonna install and start, if they don't work, I'll try and work something out with them. I also have bigger jets that came with the kit, so I may have a backup plan, hopefully I get a call for my valve shims sometime today or tomorrow, there the only things keeping me from putting her all back together. I'll post some pics of my madness thus far when I get back home :)
