Hey, I was wondering if any ducati owners have had the abs light come on (when the light is on it means ABS is disabled, it's suppose to go off [abs enabled] after 5km/h)?
They only way for me to re-enable the abs (get the abs light off) is to completely turn off the bike (the key in off position) while its moving and turn it back on while still moving.
Also, I'm not sure if this is a related issue, but the speedometer stays at zero (infrequently) despite moving. The same routine above (off then on) fixes the issue.
I don't have warranty as I purchase this bike in the US and i brought it to GP bikes to get my maintenance light off (i got 1st maintenance early in the US before bring it here) and I asked about the issue and they said they don't know and will need to book a multi-day appointment to look at it. Which sounds like its going to be painfully expensive.
My bike is a 2011 Ducati Monster 796, it's just under 7k km. No issues with it otherwise.
Suggestions on who can take a look at this would also be appreciate!
