DRZ vs Turkey

Was riding on the weekend in PA and NY state and we came accros several Pheasants on the side of the roads. Have also seen a few Turkeys on Southwood and Swords earlier this summer.. Keep an eye out for the critters.

I hit a turkey hen with my bike a few years ago. I was doing 120kmph on a back road when the stupid bird flew out of the woods right in front of my bike. It panicked when it saw me and turned and tried to fly away from me. I caught it in the arse with my front forks. What followed was an explosion of feathers, ***** and yolk. But I didn't drop the bike. I eventually had to replace the front headlight and fairing on my Kawi ZR7s. To this day there is probably still burn marks on the oil cooler and headers from the ***** and yolk. LOL
