Definitely sorry to hear that as well. Cleo (my German Shepard) has been with us since my kids were 1 and 2, eight years now. She really completes our family. I feel for you.

I rented a Tiger 1050 a few years back and it was pretty great. Effortless power, very agile and excellent ergonomics for me (6'4"). The only thing I wasn't happy with was the force required to operate the controls. Everything was a bit stiff/heavy; brakes, throttle, clutch. This is in comparison to what I was used to with my Street Triple, which is one of the best when it comes to all that so maybe it's not much of a testament against the Tiger. FWIW.
