+1 I agree, was there on Saturday, had a great time. Weather was great, and organized well! Rode in green group on a red r6. Anyone have any pics?
The Muffin ran really great.My *** was very slow.I was a bit tentative,oh well.Lots of fun watching Steve Hicks (Ducati manager) and his daughter in the 2up.Holy crap!Here's a little vid of them going into T1.It's the 2nd bike.Only in the shot for a second.

I couldn't go for the weekend rally, but was there for the final day Monday. It was my first DOCC track day. I agree 100% that it was a very well run event. Not sure how it could be done any better, really.
They had marshalls running with all the groups and they did a good job. I asked one to give me a tow for the first session since I was new to Mosport, and it was like having a private instructor. If I had chosen my own line into 2 I think I would have binned it eventually. The way through that turn is not obvious but once you know it it is an easy corner.
Lots of time (6 sessions, 20 minutes each - that's 2 hours on track!). By the end of the day the folks that had been there since Saturday started to clear out and so there was a good bit of clear track even in intermediate.
Unfortunately there was another hard crash Monday afternoon, in intermediate - happened coming out of 5. I *think* there were two bikes involved, but for sure one person went to hospital. I don't really know any more than that but of course we all hope for the best.

It was an awesome event for the D.O.C.C !
It was the first event as being co ordinator that I had fun at .
And it was 100% because of the riders that came out and had fun with us . I had to go and personally thank some of them for being so curtius ! Some of the passes I witness were the cleanest most thought out I had ever seen !

The entrance is nothing but spectacular.You are taken in thru the HUGE new double tractor trailer bridge under the entrance to T10.The driveway takes you in past the tower and makes a left over to the east side of the lower paddock between guardrails to a stop sign.From there you can go up or down.
The new bridges are the biggest changes for the riders.The bridge over the entrance to T2 bothered some folks.(i hardly noticed it).They have shaved down the hill on the inside and terraced the outside of T3 for spectaters.It's a bit weird to come into T3 being able to look thru to the end.(i didn't even notice the outside.I don't look behind me)
The new bridge just before the old hump before T8 is kind weird.I almost wanted to duc,lol.My brake point is changed now.
The only new pavement is between T9 and T10 because of the tunnel.It now has a tiny dip in it that isn't a concern.
All the concrete strips are where they were before the renos.
If anyone noticed anything else,please add or correct me.
