DOCC did open up the trackdays for Mosport

Anyone else get a mixed up registration? Myself and a bud both got put in the wrong group from what we requested. We've both emailed them to see what's up but no reply.

Blue group: Is for the average street rider who enjoys a spirited ride, but is not ready to go road racing yet.
Yellow: Is for experienced track riders who can turn good lap times, but still maintain a safe margin for error.
Green: Open to racers and equally fast non racers. This group is very fast, you should be comfortable riding in close quarters.

Thanks but we are still in a different group than what was requested

Garbage morning but loved the aft!

148 awesome kilometers - thanks DOCC, had a blast again.

Is it right that the DOCC didn't get riders out on track Sunday until after lunch because their marshalls/control riders wouldn't go out in the rain?

I thought it was fog/lack of visibility.

Fwiw I saw one of their control riders ready to ride the last session of the day on Sunday while it was pissing down with rain.

I've been at Mosport before when fog/mist has prevented riding. Corner marshalls cousln't see to the next station or corner.

It's true. First it was a bit foggy but by 10 that had burnt off.

Insurance said they had to have marshalls (control riders) on track with us.

Certainly annoyed at the time, especially since my bud and I had full wets on by 8am. However the 45 minute open session when they did open the track made me less pissy.

Rode all yesterday save one session. 207kms on odo. Sunday I had 146, so yeah we lost a bit compared to Saturday. I was just glad to have rains on when they did open it up. Other guys had to wait longer. They were not too happy.

The Sunday was a very trying day for all of us . In the beginning we thought we would just delay and have the riders meeting and give the track a chance to dry out a bit as we were warned about the seepage out of the new tarmac . then the fogg rolled in and out and in again ! so while we waited ,2 of us scrambled to get slicks off and suitable wet/rain tire on. we did just that with a huge amount of help with Dave from rip racing and Wayne from Kennedy motor sports ! i'm am sorry for the delay as we were not ready for a rain event . yes we had 2 riding marshals ready to go at the on set of the down pour , I was one and another brave volunteer but as no one was coming up we called it a day. THANX to all that did come and ride with us . Robb LeFave ,D.O.C.C. event coordinator .

You and all of the other volunteers did an outstanding job on the weekend Robb.Cheers!
