Dacre Rally 2020

Just checked it, nothing about the Dacre. On that note, why update facebook only, I, alongside many don't have a facebook account :(

And, Thanks! Just registered for the spring training event, didn't even know about it, and they allow ADV bikes!
 
Given the fact that school is done for rest of semester and summer camps most likely won’t happen anywhere in Ontario, weddings, and many other events are officially cancelled along with OVR as well I seriously doubt that any Moto event be it rallies or races will happen this summer. Believe me I hope I’m wrong was really looking forward to doing silver class in Dacre this year.
 
Lee Martin is a busy guy. Facebook is his preferred platform. I only have Facebook and instagram for Moto related stuff. It’s annoying but sometimes necessary.
 
They're allowing people to go golfing, boating and such, so hopefully they allow this, keeping social distancing would be pretty easy, and everyone would be in a helmet, gloves etc... if nothing happens, then hopefully I can get a refund :(

Pretty pathetic if they want people to just throw the summer away watching Netflix at home.
 
I thinks it’s the large gathering thing. 50 or more people would not be good. If there’s a way I’m sure Lee will find it. I’m just being a Debbie downer. Spring training might be easier it’s all outdoors. Dacre is tough, there’s riders meeting with 50 or so participants plus a catered meal.

Fingers crossed it all pans out. I did the Trail Tours dirt bike thing last year, and it was a blast, my brother and 3 friends came along, so under a group of 5. I'd do that again if anything, hoping they at least allow that. Catered meals I could care less for in any event, being Vegan there's normally nothing anyway so am used to self reliance ?

Congrats! I'm happy to hear you got it. No it wasn't you, this one was headed toward the city from Hamilton. In my mind it's the coolest bike on the market right now. Hope you have a great summer with it and I look forward to reading your posts about it. Starting to think I might need one next year...

Thanks! Was a long wait, It's got a Dakar vibe to it, and coming from the 500cc, a nice breather. The CP2 engine is a tractor, just pulls in every gear, I'm a little baffled how it does it, 2nd and 3rd feels like 1st. If you want to see it up close of anything, let me know :)

Yeah everything I’ve heard about it is great. Every video I’ve watched raves about the engine like yourself and the bikes capabilities in general. Once you have some time with it I will probably have some questions. Again enjoy it! Oh and where’s the pics in the members bikes thread up in the general section! We want to see it, well I do anyways.
 
Mine hit the dealer today! Picking it up early next week, really stoked.

Thanks. The klr is gone, the z1000 is still in the garage right now. I've gotten a lot of interest but nobody serious it seems.

Well, the spring training event just got cancelled :( and from what I hear, so will the Dacre, I really hope it does not, as I believe it can still be done with social distancing and safety measures in place, esp being over a month away, though let's see.

@Iceman did you get your T7?

Picked it up today. This bike is amazing, I love it. I cant wait to get it offroad, feels very very good.

Awesome! Enjoy, same feelings here, I got it 2 weeks back and just did the 1k service, so yet to fully test off-road stuff :)
