Cold enough for ya ?

Son in law says some of thier big diesel machines have a bypass pump to do an oil change while the engine is running . Airplanes flying stuff in get the engines tarped and they blast hot air around them to get them off the tarmac after an unload. At least his home now in Ft Mac is tropical compared to some of the exploration sites they sent them into .
I like the GTA thanks

Fort Mc is not a friendly place in the winter, no place to get out of the wind if you're working outside in the fields

Your sil is right, in the winter if they are doing maintenance outside they never turn of the heavy gear as it freezes

A buddy was an aircraft mechanic in the far north for a few years. It wasn't so bad until they had to work on something that didn't fit in the hangars. He got to be pretty good and pretty fast.

Just picked up a crank seal for the sled. Should have the motor buttoned up and back in the sled by Friday.
-10 on the sled is fine
-20 is downright brisk
