Cleaning Bugs off the front of your bike...

Just wondering what everyone uses to clean the exploded bug remains off the front of your bike....
Anyone have a favorite cleaning product for this task? Tips? Tricks? Other than soap and water and cleaning them off while they are still "fresh"

I use either mothers quick detailer, wax, or just a bit of water and vinegar. You can try automotive goo gone too.

Plexus or a decent detailer wax after you wash the bike makes cleaning bugs off between washings much easier. I use a cloth and some water which takes the bugs off easily ths way.

That stuff is like wd-40... for whatever I would not use wd-40 on. Great window cleaner, prevents fogging on the inside and acts like rainx on the outside, shines car interior and seats, cleans sunglasses...

I don't find it great for most clear stuff but it's pretty much the only thing I ever use to clean my bikes. Don't even soap and water. Just a Pledge wipe down every couple of months.

I have lots of experience with the acre of tupperware and huge windshield up front.Soak a towel in really hot water and let it soak into and soften the dead bugs. After 10min use your favourite cleaner or polish.

It's just wax with some solvent. Doesn't last as long as rainx.

On highway trips in summer , I dust the front of my bike or car with a light coat of silicone spray. The bugs can't stick to it.

turtlewax bug and tar remover, but bounce dryer sheets and water actually works really well too.

Pledge has silicone oil not wax. Weird enough it even has octylphosphonic acid to supposedly protect against corrosion.

This! works every time. Put the soaked towel on the front then clean the rest of the bike. Then remove the towel and clean the front. Bugs come right off.

I find it also helps if you actually wax your bike too, not just wash it with some car shine soap.

+1. The soaking is critical. After that, pretty much any vehicle cleaning agents will do the trick.
