That's awesome.

I get to see a few of them out and about in Kingston, my ex's brother was friends with Rob and his family. We played four covers of theirs last night at the Tir Nan Og downtown; I think we did them justice. Seeing people hang this kind of thing on their wall makes me wonder what my signed guitar is worth, though I don't think I'm selling it for profit, I'd have to give the money to charity. EDIT: better explained with pic

My first day of college in Sept. '87, they played Sneaker's Pub at St. Lawrence College (Kingston campus). Most of the songs they played were covers of the Who, Pink Floyd etc. and they were flogging a few newly minted songs for their upcoming release (Up To Here, 1989). I can't for the life of me recall what those songs were at the time, though... alcohol may have been involved.

I have an oddly high number of friends who saw them regularly at The Manor and a few other Kingston venues like Dollar Bills etc. that hate the Hip and everything they ever put out. Don't get it.

I spent a lot of time in Kingston as a young man. it was friggen awesome

These are useful. If you have reading glasses you can't keep them in your front pocket. Also, quick to get snacks, battery charger for cell phone to use at lunch.

I like mine. Good on roadtrips when you don't want to stop and mess with the backpack.
That is good to know. I've not seen anyone use one.
On long trips I have all that stuff in my tank bag and I just unzip and take in with me if leaving the bike unattended.
