Cheapskates Corner

May have scored a used eBike cheap. $325 and I know the brand and model.

It's what I had before but waaaaay less money. Have to have something for exercise...bit more motivated now. Seller says the battery still works and since I know the bike will be easy uptake.
Even have some spare accessories and riding gear for it.

I did score the ebike and flipped for $680 ....had another wanted it for $690. :sneaky:
Take the money and run ....🎶🎶

Also got $40 for my well travelled FX85 mcycle helmet I took across Canada in 2015. I was going to use it to ride the eBike but rather have the cash.

Free is good. Fried chicken wrap just the right size for my Ozempic appetite.

10 gm of protein....go with my small slab of roll mop herring for brekkie.
There is also a deal on for three of the above for $6 which is a lot of protein.. We like Hungry Jacks.
Sometimes I score a free flat white coffee but not today. 🤷‍♂️

Stopped in at Brumbies Bakery just down the street from home and scored a size large Apple n custard pastry .. yum - et few tea breaks from that.

Also my current Airhawk cover is falling apart after 10's of thousands of miles...guy accepted $40 for as new. Think he bought the wrong size for his bike.
Will be an enjoyable hours ride up the Gillies tomorrow to get it. Will be mid 20s in Atherton.

Bought these for under the motorcycle helmet but not quite working for that
However as wireless BluTooth earbuds they are a treat and surprising bass.
The kicker is ....they are $7. !!!!! Bit of a no brainer...lot of tech for cheap.
They are really good for sleeping as they literally disappear.

A bit fiddly to get paired up but I'm happily listening to Vikings on the big screen TV and dialogue is very clear.
For the money I bought two pair.

Can't decide whether to buy this or not.

Definite summer mesh jacket from well known brand here in Oz...a budget version worth $200 new. Decent reviews and I have upgraded armor for it. .
$40 to have a newer mesh hot weather jacket and I have a Joe Rocket liner for it.
I think better airflow than anything I have. Not sure well the HAWK jacket is holding up in the hot weather tho the ventilation is pretty good.
The Motodry Summer Ultra Vent (often listed as Summer-Vent) jacket is widely reviewed as an excellent, budget-friendly option for hot weather riding, offering superior airflow compared to higher-end competitors. It is a 600 denier mesh jacket designed to keep riders cool, though it is best suited for temperatures under 35°C
If it hits 35 ( rare here ) I'm staying home anyways.
