Carrying a passenger helmet on a 2010 R1 without a net... How do I do it?

I have searched through multiple sites and cannot come to a final answer or figure out how it can be done... If anyone has any video's, photos or step-by-step ways of how this can be done without using a net that would be a great help..

I had the hooks on my 636 in the tail section but the R1 doesnt have any where I can sling it over the side... Boooo!

It has a hook but is meant to lock the helmet in place and have it rest on the riders seat only... no other tabs anywhere else.

Tell her to get her own helmet. Otherwise, remove passenger seat and rear pegs. Not needed on R1.

Don't carry it in a knapsack on an SS. Buddy had his GF's helmet bounce down the DVP after the knapsack blew open. Needless to say, he now own's a banged up helmet & is currently without a GF!

Ya... I wasn't too keen on putting it inside a backpack due to security reasons and for instances mentioned about and if for some odd reason something happens and I land on my back it wouldn't be a fun day.
Trying to figure out a zero backpack and net option but the seat doesn't have any hooks I can use.. On both sides they have what look like hooks that could have been used but have no clearance for the D rings

But but..... I was told SS would get you laid...... :|

you jam your arm through it and put your hand out through the face hole.... Icon ****** vest not required.

There is a bungie cord net that can be bought. This should secure the helmet on the passenger seat. You have to find places on the bike for the hooks.

trying to not use a net for the helmet... wanting to find out if I can transport it without a net, backpack or jamming my arm through a helmet.

How often are you goign to need the second helmet? If it is for a GF just leave the second helmet at her place. If it is just once and a while and you know a head of time carry a half brain bucket in the back pack. You wear the bucket and she wears your lid (if you have any class and have not funked it up).

OP could end up being one of the first R1s with a topbox...lol
