Car Tire place East End?

Need new tires for the car, Toyota Camry, nothing fancy, just all seasons etc.

I've been to the Toyota dealer (several) and I just get a weird vibe from them about this. (like fake customer service)
Anyone know of a tire place in the east end (DaHood -> Scarborough or Pickering)

Might go check out crappy tire, or is that a bad idea.

I usually buy my tires at crappy tire when they are on sale they are unbeatable and have a good selection. I would not get any other auto service except oil changes done there.

We buy ours at CTire...we've had good luck with their Motormaster lineup and I've had good luck with the Cooper Tire brand...both winter and summer tires, no issues...

I use Onion Tire in north Scarberia. Prices and service are good, lots of decent off brand options.

70 Silver Star Blvd Unit #113, Scarborough, ON M1V 4V9.

I usually txt Kelvin for a quote: 647-773-0075

Been 2 years since I bought tires, hopefully they are still around.

I don’t think you can beat Costco’s prices and warranty. tirerack.com has great prices, will ship to Canada and is a great source for reviews but you have to find someone to install them.

Yeah found that site, great for reviews, prices seem good until you realize it's in USD.

Do you have a Costco membership? Maybe you can try their tire centre

Unfortunately I don't have a membership. It's funny I guess they must have great prices because that was what Toyota wanted to compare them to.

Thanks Mike, will give them a call. (y)

You can go in and ask for a 1 day membership. They are free.

Not sure if that will be accepted at the tire centre but with a try or at least a call and ask.

@sburns we have more than a few cars and go through some tires. Costco (I see you do not have a membership) has been our go to mainly because they offer free rotation and repair and we all take advantage of the tire rotation.

I have had great success with Exclusive Wheel and Tire as well at TTP. Pricing, selection and service have been great.

You don't need to be a Costco member to buy some tires on their web site, but they do have "Members only" items. In the warehouse, the tire shop is in the area that doesn't require a membership, so maybe it's the same there.

Back in the 80's when I used to hang out in Scarborough, the go-to car tire/rim shop was Wheels Direct on the north side of Sheppard, just east of McCowan. Looks like it's still there with a slightly different name:

What size tires are you looking for?

Name brand Uniroyal are decent value, no name's Antares and Westlake/Ironman.

215/55 R17

I've priced Uniroyal, but I'm not sure they are good tires. Reviews seem mixed.

Research showed me the tires I wanted were Coopers (Road&Trail AT) and /i found the best price at CT. Coopers are also owned by Goodyear so I asked the local Goodyear store if they'd price match which they did.
I put more faith in Goodyear changing tires (not scratching wheels) on my brand new truck than CT.
I guess my point is to ask a reputable place to match prices if you find CT the cheapest.
