Brooklin/Whitby hook-up and ride for Sunday June 12th

Hey all,

I'm a fairly new rider (about 3 weeks and counting) looking to meet up with some local folks in the Brooklin/Whitby area (Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering, Courtice, Bowmanville people also welcomed).

I'm not much a fan of traffic riding... hence most of my riding has been restricted to riding up North in the Myrtle Station, Uxbridge, Scugog, Georgina areas... breathing nice country air and minimal headaches from cagers. Haven`t built up the confidence yet to try the 401 (in time, I suppose)

I ride a Ducati Monster 695, but definitely still learning the ropes of getting my shifting silky smooth and building confidence with in leaning into turns. I ride at a pretty leisure pace but can handle some straight line sprints as well.

If you're a bit seasoned and don't mind keeping a bit of a slower pace with a novice rider while teaching some of your wisdom... all the better. I`m a very quick learner.

The forecast is looking pretty promising for this coming Sunday June 12th... perhaps we can meet at the Timmies in Brooklin or perhaps down by the highway near GP Bikes/Royal Distributing.

just wanted to update to say, I came down with a pretty bad cold (still have it) since posting this. The ride on Sunday may or may not happen.

I will let you guys know...

There's a ride from KC that covers the east end pretty well. meets up at KC Timmies at 1:30 Sunday afternoons.

Yep yep! We'll show ya some kick butt roads around Durham for sure! Hopefully see you out for our ride!!

**NOTE: Next sunday will be an up north route, all day ride, starting early.

im on a black and sliver gsxr 600, just got it in april, started with a 88 hawk gt 650, where about r u located?
 
Hey Guys. I live in ajax, and I am planning on going for a ride this afternoon for a few hours. Meet somewhere around 1pm. Haven't decided route yet. Pace will be around 15-20km/h over speed limit. let me know if any of you are interested. I am going to try to get as many people as I can.
 
I get off at 3pm in Brooklin, I'm up for a ride =)
