The first time you squeeze the RJL's you'll completely forget about the priceThe SRJL is basically track only AFAIK, and the RJL are a little out of my price range for now. Thats why im curious as to options aside from the Vesrahs or EBCs (because ive heard VERY mixed reviews)
RPMoto, we'll talk via PM
Hmmm I might try the RJL. My two finger braking habit is great for riding but it lacks for emergency stopping. When ever I want to stop quick I loose a split second while I realize I have to get my other two fingers on the lever.

Why do you feel you need more than 2 fingers for emergency braking? I'm certain I could max out the brake with only 2 fingers at all times.

Performance Friction makes excellent pads and their prices are very reasonable. Finding a distributor is tough though.
Something else to consider - EBC EPFA pads. Superior to the normal "HH" (FA) pads in every way except price and availability. EBC doesn't make them for every bike, but it is surprising what they do fit - I can get them for my GS500, for example.
Also OP, where in Etobicoke?
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone really appreciate it.
I want to replace the oem pads because they have always felt spongy but now much more so. I'll look into the ones mentioned as I've never heard of any besides the EBC brand.
and yes I'm south Etobicoke, lakeshore and Kipling area.
You said you're located in Burlington, do you have a shop? Whereabouts? We are based in Burlington. I am not sure what your stock brake pads would run but let me know what kind of riding you are doing and I can shoot you some options via pm.
