BMW F-650 as beginner?

Hello,
I'm new to the forum and extremely excited about getting into biking! I've got my Humber course coming up this weekend and am currently looking at various options of bikes. I've narrowed down to the following:
Sport
- 125cbr (preferred)
- 250cbr
Cruiser
- 250 Rebel
- 500 Vulcan (preferred)

Last night I was walking around my neighborhood and saw the BMW F-650 motorcycle and tried to find opinions here on the site. Does anyone have any thoughts on this bike? It seems to have a balance of sport/cruiser style. I'm 5'7 so the height might be an issue. Also there's reviews where the vibration can get quite considerable on the road at highway speeds.

Any guidance/suggestions/thoughts are highly appreciated!

If you like the BMW F-650 take a look at the Suzuki DL650 as well. I would consider both beginner friendly.
