I've had many a debates with people about this and none of them believe me. The factory Yama speedo's are off 7% on average, and when I correct it with an ECU flash the odometer runs a little slowGot it at 35
From the factory the Odometer is 100% calibrated. If you correct/calibrate the speedo then the odo is slow.

That makes sense...why would someone debate it?

Then sell it off for original MRSP!! But seriously why did they design them in such way.. they didnt think it would hit 100k+
Too bad my digital reading will never get erased..Unless I erase the bike :X

I don't think a lot of bikes roll past a 100k....most get scrapped by then maybe? Probably not worth the cost to build in an extra digit. The internals could be in 10s of thousands of bikes.

Mine will stick at 99999. But I've got plans to remedy that.
Most people don't ride them past 50

Gotcha, well i'm planning to ride mine till one of us quit, and then do an engine swap.. It'll probably be a while.. since i do the service on time and take really good care of it.
