Taking out of equation mileage, what is the best sport bike tire our there today with the most amount of grip? im talking street riding, occasional track...

Dunlop Q2, Pirelli Rosso Corsa, Bridgestone 003RS, Michelin Power Pure 2CT.

Pick one.

another question that has been pondering in my empty head for quite some time today...
at what point do you guys replace your tires? when completely bald, 10% tread left, 20%? i know this is a personal thing, just curious as to what majority out there do...

Oh god! This topic again... its like asking what bike is the best. lol

You're right, I didn't... but seriously, the 2ct's from what I hear (a few friends put them on this year) they are not impressive ant a bit of a ***** to ride in a straight line. The drop in on them is excessive for the street. I think Ill go with the metzler M5s next time around

I have 2ct's on my zx10 and they're good on the street spin fairly easy though. Tried them on the track this weekend....not so good but I've only ever used 211 gp/gpa's on my track bike so I've been spoiled ;)

im leaning more towards the power pure, but wanted to see others opinions...
i want the best sticky tire for the street, dont really care about cost or mileage

Have you ever thought about race offs? they are like $150-200, scrubbed in and sticky as hell!

I would have to agree, out of that lot the power pure seem to be the best bet!

i think you are the one who is confused michelin pilot power 2ct is a different tire as POWER PURE

Who, besides you, has mentioned anything about a Pilot Power 2CT?

Caboose recommended the Power Pure 2CT, not the Pilot Power 2CT. The two are different tires but both carry the 2CT designation because they're both dual compounds.

Christ on a stick....
