Looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my 2006 Kawasaki 650R, any recommendations? Two Brothers seems to have a nice one.
You want to be careful with what you buy. If you want to ride around Caledon, Belfountain, Forks of the Credit area you may want to stick with the stock exhaust. I had bought a used VFR that had a Micron carbon fibre on it and at the end of the can it actually has something like "Not For Road Use" stamped into it. I was lucky to get a stock can for $80. If you leave for work early in the morning or come home late at night your neighbours will not be pleased if you have something loud and there may be a temptation do something to your bike if it is not locked away all of the time.
Some come with a baffle that will make it sound very close to stock.Yea, a loud pipe could PO neighbors, although their are others on my street with bikes and fast noisy cars. Still, I ride in the evenings, so this is something I have to keep in mind. Having kids myself, I know how annoying it is if a bike/car wakes them up. I suspect most aftermarket pipes are going to be louder than stock.
Please be more specific. Best exhaust in what aspect? Performance? Sound? Look? Then you can narrow your decision. Ride safeSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
