No problem. And thank you for the link - I don't plan on buying kevlar jeans this season but these guys from grinfactor are pretty thorough and jeans look solid. Bookmarked. For those who don't want to dig through the old thread - Jimmy's post about weight:

And since we are on the subject of best cargo pants - I know lots of riders from Seattle area. Most of them swear by Motoport gear. I don't know how it will work for Canadians but in US they have lifetime warranty - if you crash they will fix it for you. Quality and protection offered is outstanding (accoring to people who used them) - http://www.motoport.com/
 
I read the Grin Factor details and it looks like a good product. I wouldn't personally buy it because:-

1. In the Youtube Videos they only use the sander in spots that have armour underneath it.
2. I would never buy from any business where I can't go back if there is a problem or concern.
3. I would not buy from any business that uses either aol, gmail or hotmail for their domain email. lol.
4. 100 British pounds for jeans and armour plus shipping plus duties. (1 Pound is 1.56 Dollars)
5. I think they just double the kevlar in key areas to make it 400gsm. We are in the process of upgrading to 320gsm which is the maximum thickness Dupont makes Kevlar in. So 400 is hard to believe for me.

At the end of the day it is your call. They look like they are well made but I wouldn't buy them because I have a hard time believing some of the claims being made. But that's just me.

Not trying to pull anyone away from what you're offering. Just comparing the two because I was considering ordering some of their jeans before I saw this thread.

I agree that their email/domain is sketchy. I think it's mostly because they are very small and new. Yes, the 400 gsm rating is for the doubled areas, I think. I watched all their videos and they seemed to use the sander almost anywhere. They use it on their gloves and sweaters, too. He also takes an exacto knife to both the sweater and his legs with the pants on. He sets the sweater on fire in another one. Of course it could all be bull. You are absolutely right about the cost and inability to visit them with a problem since they are over seas.

I love the BMW Summer Pants. I actually have two pairs and never wear the black ones. They are an XL which fits about a 36-37 inch waist. I'd let them go for $125 if the OP or anyone else is interested. They truly are great pants with proper protection and you can convert them to shorts.
