Does anyone know how to wire/install the Beret 5000M on a yamaha motorcycle. I am trying to install it on my 2005 Fz6.

Or does anyone have recommendations for a shop I can get it installed for a decent price?

It would help if you tell us that its a Alarm.

Alarm's a pretty straight forward now a days.

lol I am assuming you have done this kind of thing before on another bike. So you got everything working, no problem?

Thanks for the info. Looks kinda complicated. If I do it myself I might leave out the remote starter and just keep it as a alaram.

Did you have someone install for you or did it your self? You have a fz6?

Leaving out the remote starter is a pretty good idea. I put my 08 FZ6 in gear by accident when placing the motorcycle cover over it. I hit the remote starter the next morning as I was walking toward my bike, and saw my bike lurch forward a foot and ghost ride itself into a concrete wall. The impact cracked my headlight, and scratched my mirror when the bike fell.
I had the shop formerly known as envy rides do it for me (They used the instruction's from SBN). They did a hack job on my electrical wiring harness. If you have no splicing or soldering experience, and don't feel confident in doing it yourself after watching some youtube video's; I suggest looking for a mechanic that will do a clean and proper job. The last thing you need is to go somewhere that will destroy your harness or put your electrical's in defunct.
I had Daniel at Heritage Auto clean up the hack job after I went to Envy rides. Im sure he could get it installed for you.

I can be reached at 416 249 0422, to arrange the installation for the alarm, Red is right. Best to have a trained tech install the wiring for you properly. I spend summers repairing and replacing wiring harness after they have been cut up and burnt.
