When you don't support local business this is what can happen sometimes, having said that I shop globally all the time with no issues but ridersdiscount seems to have failed you on this occasion. The statement made that USPS means no duties is rubbish, that will be hit and miss, and is a gamble, sometimes your lucky and sometimes your not. They should be able to file a damage claim with USPS unless they didn't insure it.

Agreeed usps is the way to go avoid the others

I now avoid them like the plague. Try to get them to send it USPS...never a problem. As for the ride tomorrow comment don't sweat the small stuff.
