Battery stop

I got mine from Royal Distributing for $50.

got mine from Glen at Flying Squirrel

FS looks pretty legit

while we're at this. Is yuasa the go-to brand out there? and what's with the "light-weight" racing battery, is that worth investing in?

I run an sport bike if that matters

Yuasa is the Cadillac of Baetteries and you will find that out when you bring it to the register lol.

Yuasa is what I got in my bike right now, haven't given me any issues...
last winter it died, but that's because I didn't have the charger hooked up to it.
Racers are always looking for ways to drop weight off their bikes.
So, if you're competing in races, then yes, it's worth the investment.
If you're just riding around the streets, then I don't think you would really benefit from a lightweight battery.

my last battery i bought down in the states ... i think it was 40 bucks

This is the best battery I've ever used, the Odyssey. Holds voltage extremely well and has huge cranking power. Only comes in a few sizes and is not bike model specific. Expensive and heavy but reliability is worth it. Bought mine from Flying Squirrel.
