Any xbox360 experts?

Yesterday I was playing and any light colour started showing as a light purple. Figured screw it - maybe a loose/faulty hdmi cable, no biggie. Today, it briefly did it again when my son was playing, then went black.

HDMI - nothing.
then tried:
Component - nothing.
Composite - nothing.

It powers up, looks to be 'working' (i.e. no ring of fire / controller 1 lit up) but no output. I tried the Y/right trigger video reboot - it rebooted - but no luck.

Is it toast? I've got another, so it's hardly the end of the world, but would like to be able to retrieve profile / game progress info if possible.

Sounds like it may be a video card issue, but I haven't seen this before.

As for the game saves if you have a hard drive you can just pop it out and transfer it to another hd on a new box, also if a profile is connected to xbox live it can be transfered to a different xbox through xbox live itself, this won't transfer game saves though, only profile data, gamerscore, achievements and such
