I fuel the ice vehicle whereas the PHEV gets plugged and unplugged by my wife all the time.Is there ever a point at which plugging in and unplugging your car becomes too much and you take the ice car for convenience?
p.s. Canadian Tire said they didn’t have rims to fit mine. It also doesn’t show my make/model in their system. I think it shows the U.S. non PHEV model, which is different, instead.
Going to see if the dealer can get decent looking rims and non Japanese tires. Otherwise, I’ll have to settle for the Yokohamas on steelies, and paint them black every Spring.
I think EVs are more practical charging at home and knowing the cost of charge over watching the price at the pump and being strategic at when to fill up to save a buck to two depending on reports of when the price will increase or drop x cents the next day etc.
The only draw back would be longer road trips and planning charge spots/timing and the cost to change but, even then still less of a concern than the price of petro at the enroute.
