Your thread is titled with "Any bets/takers". Then followed by several stories with crashes in them. Implying that you want to make $$ off of other peoples misery. I don't need to do ANYTHING for that to look/sound bad. Ending with this:

Now you are running from your own post. You did this to ridicule anyone that would create a thread that is similar to a thread from the past. The thread title suggest you would want to bet on it. So no I didn't assume anything. Its all in your own post. I just IMO pointed it out in a funny way. :D
 
I think everyone is just going crazy, all these arguements with no real point. Can't we all just get along? C'mon everyone, group hug!

But I did laugh when I read your questions and then saw your join date. Thinking "who is this young kid complaining about? he probably asked the same questions a year ago!".

Your right I am opening a WHOLE casino based just on taking bets on this. I expect I will be a multimillionaire by this time next week. I guess you missed the ENTIRE point of the thread. Again I implied NOTHING about making money off it. Did I post a link to where anyone could make a bet it was a commonly used term, (I guess used more before your time then it is today). So yes you DID assume and read way too much into it so I will make it clear for you as well.

As to your point it contained "several stories of crashes" it did contain two EXAMPLES of why these type of incidents typically occur, not several stories.

Took my bike out his morning to commute to work. Crashed it as I didn't realize that at 6 am the temp was still below zero and I hit a patch of black ice..

Or I entered a corner and bike hit sand/salt on road from the winter and I crashed..

Of course not wishing anyone actually crashes... But we see it every year, thankfully most of the time it is a low speed get off.
