and you thought e-bikes on our streets were bad...

There are eBikes that have 750w motors that claim to be "legal" because they have a speed restricted mode, but if you're riding on private property or off-road you can change to a different mode that allows full power.

They can claim that but they don't comply with the law. The law restricts size of motor. A software limit does not comply. Ebike dealers straight up lie to most of their clients.

Not E-Trike but had to go somewhere. Too many things just not right.

1) Teach kids to look both ways
2) Get bicycles to obey laws

Fortunately only minor injuries, scratches and bruises. The fine apparently $131.00

The scarier part is the attitude of another cyclist at 1:10 - 1:30, in short, don't expect any change in attitude from the cyclists. How do you fix that?

One way streets with two way bike lanes are particularly dangerous.

Since E-bikes share many of the rights and attitudes of push bikes the extra mass and speed will exacerbate the problem. You are less likely to walk away from getting hit by a 120 KG (265 pound) e-bike with a 130 KG rider (290 pound). Hit by 250 Kg at 32 Kph (20 Mph) will do serious damage.
