That was nowhere near as close as it looked. That's an extremely long lens so the field of view is compressed. Definitely a massive screw up, but not what it appeared to be.
Skyteam cut the landing plane off like someone on the 401! Cut in front of someone who's moving faster than you and go nice and slow...
