After winter storage.

Reverse what was done to store the bike.

do a walk around, check all components visually (leaks, grease, dust, lube, etc), put in the battery, top up the blinker fluid, and giv'r.

Check your tire pressure.

*blinker fluid not mandatory

now you tell me blinker fluid is not mandatory
i just ordered 2 cases

If you used fuel stabilizer, just ride until an empty tank, and put fresh fuel in.

I'll take one of them off your hands if its HID fluid. Got no use for Halogen.

35w or 55w for the ballast grease?

If you used fuel stabilizer, just ride until an empty tank, and put fresh fuel in.

I know people that do this but I pull out the stabilised fuel out of the tank and put fresh in. I then mix the old stuff with the fresh in my cars gas tank and run it there. But thats just me. 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other

Rly now there is 55W
Never doing blinker fluid again

I make my own blinker fluid. Its realy just a solution of polarized tachyons suspended in a liquid amilnitrate compound. All you need is a Plasma injector and bussard injector that can be configured to use anti-protons as the stage 3 catalist.

Sounds complicated
I'm just going to take the blinkers of the bike and use my hands

In all seriousness, check your signals, headlight and taillight for functionality. Had a dead bulb in one signal after storage this year, currently riding with a temp clear bulb while I wait for my super specific amber RY10W BAU15S replacements to arrive

time for LEDS ;)

yea my headlights both crapped out and i hadn't noticed until i got home sat from my day ride... luckily it was during the day or I would've been stranded. Just a fuse no biggie, but still something to check. I dont bother taking the fuel out, just ride it out... fuel is fuel.. its only been a few months and if its been stabilized it'll do fine for the few hundred k you're going to get out of it.
My de-winterizing:
-tire pressure
-Check fluid levels
-ensure lights/blinkers work
-let warm up much longer than normal
-ride a bit soft for a couple k, then give'r.. WOT works best to blow out anything that may have grown/accumulated
