Im ok with staying on 2 track atv trails and gravel access roads and calling that Off-road

better description is off pavement.
This is off road - my buddy playing submariner

This is off pavement ..lovel these kinds of roads - even a road bike can handle that.

Out here the limiting factor for off pavement is bull dust and washboard. Buddy busted his frame on a KLR650 on washboard run.
Single track off pavement is another thing entirely.

So i think the bottom line is.... manufacturers are selling us an image. Drop 30k and bingo, you have all the trimmings a rtw rider needs. Lol.
