A ride to Wilno for a feed of Golabki & Pierogies

This was a last minute lunch get-together for the Ontario Guzzi Riders.
4 of us gathered at the Wilno Tavern & Restaurant for lunch on Friday, July 24.
The fifth, the organizer could not make it that day.
We are talking Polish food here so his excuse had better be good!
I left home at 8:00am allowing myself 3 hours to get there.
It was only 12 degrees but warmed up to 28 by 5:00 when I got home.
It was sunny most of the day with some Cumulus clouds building late afternoon.
Total trip with detour came to 450km.
It was an hour into my ride before I figured out my math was wrong.
It actually worked out well because I made a stop in Kaladar for a Pibroch (Jethro Tull fans will understand)
Since I had lots of time I decided to stop at Rosie's Cafe & General Store just south of Denbigh.
It is amazing what is packed into a repurposed house.
Also slowing me down was an issue with my windshield.
I had adjusted it forward but must have put stress on the lower mounts.
Causing them to pop out of place when I hit a big bump in the road.
I had purchased a cheap sport cam from Amazon and was trying it out.
The extra shaking did nothing for the quality of the recording.
see link for vid of return trip ( 480p & just under 2GB )
This is a long clip because I was going slow but you can bump up the speed to 2X
This was my first time on this rode heading south from Wilno (see blow up map)
Everything was going fine on the return trip until I got to Flinton Rd where Hwy 41 was closed to Hwy 7.
The detour started out on pavement but after Flinton the road became freshly chipped and deteriorated from there.
Another issue I had was poor Satellite linkage for GPS so my navigation was running slow resulting in going pass
where I needed to turn. The US must have all the satilites over Iran.
