ya that was a close call haha but still goodtimes, as I said before I have always been on my own first time riding with others. Not gonna lie the rest of the ride was really amazing my nurvs were shook a bit at the first incident haha but I loved the rest of the ride it was about 600 km and took me about 7 hours and a bit. I'm gonna do another ride this friday appearnltly people get real edgy if i make it exclusive to certain bikes and take it real personal, don't know why but im not trying to offend anyone so I'm gonna leave this open to anyone. I'll probably make it shorter so everyone can stick around and not bail out a few kms in to the ride cause thats kinda lame.

You sure people bailed because of the length? Or was it because the leader who organized a ride for 600 and up only, didn't mention that he is a brand new rider who almost lost it in the first turn?

no smart *** it was becauze of the length. they didnt wanna spend the time to go up north for the roads up there.

hey alawii, read my post about parry sound, I told you I would ride you to the 400 and I did like I said. But I do have to say this, you should ride with some more experienced riders and be a little more humble about the whole thing. We (as motorcyclists ) DO NOT WISH anyone to crash but sometimes when you post like you did people lose sympathy for you. Riding with more experienced riders will help you to become a better rider as we are all here to help each other. Everyone has had tips or pointers from more experienced riders and there is nothing wrong with that. Just ride, enjoy and be safe! By the way I rode to Pennsylvania a couple of years ago. We were gone 18 hours, distance and time in the saddle doesn't bother me.

It is advisable to learn how to ride WELL, before trying to ride fast. Just sayin' ...

I see we lost the original post. Edited today at 1:24 today monday july 24th 2011. some of you may have not have read it but if you read the posts after I'm sure you can guess what was posted. Shame on you alawii

Very valid points yzfrickr1 is making here alawii. I have been riding for 9 years now.50,000 plus km under the belt, down once, good days and bad in corners. With experience I have learned to notice when I feel off and ride safely. It isn't a race, it's about having fun and even though we all take the risk of riding most of us try to do it in a safe manor. Over the years I have learned alot from advise other rider have given me. And even to this day I still ride with new riders. Sure it isn't as fun when you come up to some nice twisties that I'd normaly take doing 45-50 kph and the newer rider infront of me is dropping down to 25-30 kph but the joy of seeing that person improve their skill possibly to some advise I have passed down to them more then makes up for the lack of leaning in. Besides the corners will always be there the next time you hit that road.
