Was up that way, Saturday. There is no warning signs indicating this. The road is completely fenced off just south of hwy 620.

FYI the gas station at Apsley closes at 5pm. So get gas in Bancroft or the Ultramar on hwy 28 if your bike can make!

There is a bi-pass just west and this has been in place for at least a year now.

The bypass is known as Glen Alda Rd. I used it last weekend.

I was through there earlier this week and the road is still closed with a detour on a gravel road through Glen Alda

Spoke to the locals who said someone eff'd up the new bridge they were putting in there and the whole thing collapsed prior to the road opening so it has to be torn out and redone. Been about 3yrs into this project so I wouldn't expect it opening this year either.

There has been a detour around this bridge from day 1 and it's still there. The detour takes an extra 5 minutes, so no big deal.

People are talking about this bridge being out as if there is no detour around it and the road just ends. The detour is clearly marked.
