I bought a 2013 Ninja a couple months ago. The 2014's were rolling in, so I hoped to be able to negotiate a great deal on a new 2013, that's been sitting around for a year.
I searched all the Kawasaki dealerships in Ontario, reviewed their current inventory and prices. I then started negotiations based on comparisons.
Motorsports Pickering gave me the best deal. I was incredibly happy as my out the door price was less then the bikes original MSRP.
Buy current models, during the current season don't have much room for negotiating. That was my experience anyway.
Good luck and have fun!
Edit: ECU swaps and recalls must be done before the dealership sells the bike. I've had zero stalling issues. Well, as long as my kickstand is up.
