Officers with the York Regional Police Collision Investigation Unit are asking witnesses to come forward following a serious collision in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville.
On Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a white 2005 GMC dump truck was travelling southbound on Warden Avenue south of Bloomington Road when it made a left turn in front of a black 2007 Hyosung motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 49-year-old male from the City of Barrie, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the dump truck, a 69-year-old male from the Town of Wasaga Beach, was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and witnesses are asked to come forward.
