2012 R1....... now with TC!

I really liked the 09 styling when it came out and it still looks current. Would've been nice to see a redesign but whatever. Sounds like this is a 'test' year for some new tech and a new design will probably come for '13.

I know this R1 is probably the 'worst' of the liter bikes but it sounds mean and looks awesome. I'd probably buy one if I was in the market for a new 4cyl literbike.
 
I see a classic bike in the 09 current R1. It has more performance than you can use so what's there not to like?
 
Ah if only I had the competence and flexibility to enjoy the R1. She's a beaut.
 
Ehh.. I have three friends with one. They choke off hard at high revs .. but they're fairly comfortable. They're alright, I don't like the looks much with the stock mufflers and I sure don't like how they roast my *** with them.

One of the three friends like his. I leave the rest to your imagination.
 
So basically they fixed non of its faults (weight, top-end power, ***/thigh roasting heat).
 
Doesn't do anything for me.
 
All of the 2012 stuff is disappointing,probably even more so with the R6, all they did was make it look like the R1, no goodies at all :(
