I hate wasting my time and sales people's time so I ask this question. What price have people got on these bikes out the door? I mean all in no other costs. So far St Onge in Barrie has me at $5861.52 with a solo seat.

Anybody else care to share? The wife is itching to buy now that her 600 is sold.

thats not bad at all considering the prices are supposed to have gone up a couple hundred bucks. When I got mine back in May 09 it was 5800 bucks give or take a dollar or two and that was without the seat cowl and it was the standard model...

+1. If you're set on buying brand new, that's a great price. You could get it cheaper down in the states, but not cheap enough to justify the cost.

I bought a 2011 last June, standard model $5389 all in. SE was about $200 more. From Edge Performance in Bradford.

Bikes are now being sold as cars?

Nissan Sentra SE!
Ninja 250 SE!

man I feel like I got ripped off at 5800 bucks...then again that was when they were fresh and hard as hell to get. People had been waiting upwards of 4 months, I only waited 2 weeks.

Well she pulled the trigger on Sunday! Happy with the deal and for the other two dealerships I contacted thanks for not getting back to me. I know there isn't much room in bikes at this price point and a sales guy/gal would rather sell a more expensive bike but they do have to realize that it's all about the first impression. If you don't want someones business now then why would I give it to you later?

Either way if you want to deal with a straight shooter sale guy then go see Jerry at St Onge in Barrie.

I always like how you can buy a used Ninja and sell it for the same amount / more a few seasons later :) ....

Kahuna is now selling 2011's at $4395 + tax & pdi, all in I got it for $5300

It's that mentality that makes Ontario used bike prices so high... That, and dumbasses who actually continue to buy used bikes for way more than they're worth.

I got mine (2010, standard) for about $4000 in Feb. The reason I paid that much is because it only had 840 miles on it.

I'm not talking about an 8 year old 600 for 6k. Ninja 250s flatline in price eventually (as beginner bikes should). I just think it's silly to take such a huge hit as the off-the-lot buyer of a 250cc bike that most will flip by the next season.
