Hey Everyone,

I need your help in getting the dimensions of the exhaust bolt, nut and washer size where they would clamp and hold the exhaust near the rear wheel. I recently got a yosh exhaust but the bolt got misplaced.

Thanks.

It looks like you don't have to be too precise as it is a bolt and nut and not screwing into an existing mount.
You could get away with almost anything that will fit through, Just take dimensions needed and go to the hardware store.

prob a m7 or a m8

M7? Never seen that on a bike exhaust clamp before LOL

It should be M8, and its very easy to find the length, just measure the width of the rubber mount, spacers, and clamp and add enough for the nut...Id estimate M8x45-50mm

seen lots of M8's.....

I think the 96-03 gsxr's use a M7 to hold the midpipe in place, and I think a DnD clamp uses a M7 bolt ?

Doubt it, its nearly impossible to find M7 bolts...The only things Ive seen M7 on sport bikes is some cylinder head bolts, but they are special...

No hardware store is going to have M7 anything in stock....M5/M6/M8/M10/M12 are all common on bikes and can be found almost anywhere...

Anyways I used to own an 03 R6 and Im positive its not M7...IM 99% positive its an M8 and if its not then its an M10
