2-Upping Destinations?

With riding season fast approaching my girlfriend and I are looking forward to logging some miles on the bike.
My question to you guys/girls, what are some neat places to visit??
Scenic roads? Good Mom & Pop's restaurants? etc etc...
Thinking about doing a couple of Niagara trips/light touring this season.
In or around the GTA as long as we can get there and back the same day.

All ideas are welcome, thanks!
 
The airport road stretch to wasaga is not bad. Many riders to see/join. On your way back you can hit the forks of the credit, Hockley valley. Loads of cool things to see do and all in a 1 day trip.
 
A ride up through Algonquin always makes for a nice day trip. The restaurant by Canoe lake inside the park is a good place to stop for lunch. There are any number of routes you could take with nice riding roads. 35 up to 60. 60 through the park. 127 to Peterson/Elephant Lake rd. Make your way over to the 507. Mainstreet Landing in Buckhorn has a nice patio along the river locks. Lakehurst rd toward Omemee, then towards Port Perry via 57, etc. Google Maps is your friend.
 
+1 on Hockley Valley Road. Cruising the Lakeshore in DT Toronto isnt bad with a stop on the Queens Quay for the second cup on lower Bathurst and Queens Quay. Horseshoe Valley isn't a bad stop in the summer. Some really good food at the crazy horse.
 
Riding east along Lake Ontario Shoreline to Price Edward County then taking the free ferry (5min ferry trip) at Glenora.
 
My wife and I pack a picnic and do the Niagara peninsula run making sure to stop by the perch shack on the beach in Lowbanks for an ice cream. The Niagara Parkway is beautiful and has countless picnic tables right on the river. Drive past the falls and on the other side of the loop make sure to check out Niagara on the Lake, and pier in the tiny village of Port Dalhousie too. It's a fantastic run.

Sounds like something we would both enjoy. I ride an SS so the picnic idea is kind of not an option...

If you can handle the KMs (about 700 for the day), go to the Muskokas. I like going to Dorset. There are great roads to get there and out, and Dorset is a nice little community to stop. Rosseau is also a good stop for a lot of the good Muskoka roads.

I would agree with others here that a good first trip would be to Niagara Falls. You can get on Ridge Road, which is not congested, stop at Niagara-on-the-Lake, then down the Niagara Parkway to the Falls. You can make a weekend of it by staying there over night. Then, come home the next day.
 
I like this site. The maps can be saved and imported into my Android so I use the Google maps as a GPS with these routes saved as Google Map Routes.

This is a decent destination ride especially if your SO likes art's. Northern Ontario so the roads are pretty awesome. I for one really don't have much of a spot for arts/crafts but this place is pretty cool.

Love this quote lol. SS guys don't eat? Or picnics aren't cool enough?

Im assuming you meant storage? A tank bag, saddle bags, or backpack would do it.

I'm all about eating and enjoying the outdoors...
I was referring to the storage issue.

Haven't had a chance to check out the links you guys posted, I'll do so when I get home.
I plan on doing something with her every week, so the more ideas the better...

A nice short ride around Jackson's point/Lake Simcoe, feed her some ice cream and then home for a quick shag. After that she can cook you dinner. Perfect!!

Ok - it's true I ride a Harley so I don't have to be smart 'cause I'm pretty. What's an SS?

I know nothing of sport bikes and for my own personal taste the Road King and Road King Classic are the only two bikes on the planet although a Fat Boy and Heritage Classic are easy on the eyes. If I try to climb on a sport bike it starts screaming something about an old man touching me and how it needs an adult.
