    From Toronto to PEI Help

Here was my itinerary last year in August (family of 4 with teenagers) Day 1 - Stop in Montreal for lunch a Schwartz's Deli, pass Quebec City (if you haven't been it's a must) and drive along the river (rd 132 I think) parallel to the 20, stay overnight at Rivier du Loup - St. Hubert for Dinner...

Motorcycle into Guardrail @ W/B Gardiner & Jameson Ave

RIP rider. I've commuted home twice on my bike this past week on this stretch of the w/b gardiner (during the day). You have to be extra attentive about road surface and messed up dividing/merge lanes in some sections. There is fine debris from construction and storm drains in the middle of...

Private or Dealer ...for first time purchase

If you want a good dealer experience try GP bikes. Lots of variety re:new and used bikes, clothing, parts accessories etc... I've personally not bot a bike from them (just gear) but my bro-in-law had a great experience purchasing a new Triumph America. He dealt with Jeremy.

    Motorcycle Course

I took my M1 exit here: http://www.canmocycle.ca/ It's Fri - Sun. Day 1 is an evening session watching videos (classroom in Mohawk College). Day 2 and 3 are all day training sessions on their bikes (Kushies' Parking Lot in Stoney Creek). End of day 3 is the test. Great instructors who are...

    MAPLE LEAFS SUCK

I was at the Monday game with my two sons. The ACC was so quiet you could hear the player/bench chatter and crunching of popcorn from the upper bowl! We watched from the Leaf Alumni box...will withhold the details but in conclusion nobody in that box was happy with players and management. My...

    Warm Gloves?

What's worked well for me in colder temps is using glove liners underneath like what I use for skiing: http://www.burton.com/default/touchscreen-liner/W15-103191.html

    S1000r insurance

I'm with State Farm and I pay $129/month full coverage on my Monster 696 (M2 license, live in Burlington too, clean driving record). My premium would go down to $80-90/month if I moved my car insurance to them so your intention to have more than one vehicle insured with them should help the...

    Any fishermen here?

Any of those 2 are fine. The quality of graphite will make a difference in price but application is subjective. For example. an IM7 rod (first one) is lighter and more sensitive but not as durable as an IM6 (the 2nd one). However an IM6 is more durable but not as sensitive. I assume the...

when does every one stop riding??

Rode yesterday with my bro-in-law. Did a nice 200+ KM route which included the Niagara Parkway from beginning to end. Lots of other riders out too. I would have ridden to work today but I had to wear a suit and tie...hard to put gear over that without getting wrinkly!

    Today, I rode a Harley

Here's my 2 1/2 cents on HD from new rider with a year's experience. Any company that creates a strong brand and following in my books is a great company. I too could get easily lured to drink the kool-aid, buy into the lifestyle and up my cool factor. I went on that Jacox Harley Demo Day a few...

just passed M1X test in TO

Congrats. If you have $$ there's no time like the present. When I got my M2 last September 2013 I purchased my (used) bike a month after. Since then I've put 15,000kms on her all done within a 3-4 hour radius from where I live. As a newb like me you will find the time to ride any chance you get...

Would this work on motorcycle tires?

Not familiar with this product but I have seen those $20 patch kits from Crappy Tire work just this past weekend. Guy in our group got a nail in his rear tire (fairly new 899 Panigale) and he was able to patch it up and ride back home from hwy 89/400 back downtown TO without a problem.
