    STP Complete fuel system cleaner

^^^ He's talking about seafoam. The can says to pour some in your crankcase to clean any sludge out. But usually you just end up with a bottom end knock due to lack of lubrication.

    is it true???

Generally Friday 6-10 is test and tune at Sparta. You'll get tons of passes in. FWIW I'd launch my car as soon as the yellow showed for a .2-.3 reaction time. Never drag raced my bike so can't comment on that. I wouldn't worry about reaction time when starting out, just focus on getting good...

FI Red Lights + Oil Symbol

Just make sure your oil level isn't too high. If it is, oil can "aerate" or "foam", resulting in oil temps increasing rapidly, low oil volume/pressure through the pump, lack of splash lubrication, etc. This would be pretty extreme but it's a possibility under the right conditions.

    2003-2009ish CBR600RR and YZF-R6 Owners show yourselves!

If you're planning on riding for long distance, but want a 600SS, get a CBR. I can cruise all day on my '07 no problem. 07+ R6's are murder on the wrists, you'll be stopping every hour. Disadvantage of the cbr is no cargo storage. Can't even fit a can of plexus with a towel... Spend your money...

R1 and GSXR Crash - Good example of how not to ride on the street.

Arguably, I felt they were going too fast for the type of highway they were on. By the time the R1 noticed the Mercedes, he was doing a solid 90mph. I think he slowed down to 30-40mph, but if he was doing a sensible speed, he may have avoided the car all together. The GSXR was obviously going...

Anyone need help this coming season?

Hey guys, Been contemplating getting into track riding lately. I know it's a rather expensive hobby, however I've always wanted to race bikes. With that being said, I'd rather not just jump into the deep end without getting some knowledge and experience first. So basically, in short, I was...

21 years old - Ninja 250 - Insurance help please!

it kicked the **** outta Hyosung 250's lol..... It was just a bit dated :D But seriously if you can't get cheap insurance on a rocket of a 250 anymore, people might as well buy an old beater, beat on it, save up for a nice bike when they get the skill. Unless all one cares about is image....

21 years old - Ninja 250 - Insurance help please!

This is crazy... When I was 16 I bought an 82 cb450sc. Insured it with TD Insurance for $76 per month. M2 and all. However this was back in 2006, maybe things have changed.

    Last ride of the year

One of the better roads around Port Burwell is called Richmond Rd. just through the small town of Richmond, ON. It gets pretty technical if you keep a faster pace. If you guys are bored in the spring you should check it out.

    Last ride of the year

Good old Tillsonburg. Was really surprised the corners on that road past the Chrysler dealership. Do you guys ever do Front Road from Port Stanley to Dover?

    ELECTRICAL battery question!

Hey there, I would not splice into your headlight circuit as your accessory would increase the amperage of the circuit dramatically and you run the risk of blowing your headlight fuse, which could be very dangerous for night riding. Personally for the slight increase in time and additional...

    Torque wrench

Snappy (snap-on) should have a calibrator in his truck. This one time at band camp I used a cheapo torque wrench (from CT) to torque down head bolts on a friends car, didn't feel right at all. Grabbed my snap-on from work, turned out it was inaccurate ~20 lb-ft. I would consider $ factor...
