Just make sure your oil level isn't too high. If it is, oil can "aerate" or "foam", resulting in oil temps increasing rapidly, low oil volume/pressure through the pump, lack of splash lubrication, etc. This would be pretty extreme but it's a possibility under the right conditions.

If you're planning on riding for long distance, but want a 600SS, get a CBR. I can cruise all day on my '07 no problem. 07+ R6's are murder on the wrists, you'll be stopping every hour. Disadvantage of the cbr is no cargo storage. Can't even fit a can of plexus with a towel... Spend your money...

One of the better roads around Port Burwell is called Richmond Rd. just through the small town of Richmond, ON. It gets pretty technical if you keep a faster pace. If you guys are bored in the spring you should check it out.
