    Honda parts

I've ordered parts quite a few times from Ready Honda (Honda and Yamaha parts along with some GIVI stuff). Friendly, knowledgeable, good service and competitive price.

Bent fork options? Are fork inner tubes universal?

John at is the not-to-miss part of the Bent Bikes experience! In all seriousness though, he's awesome - he's forgotten more about bikes than I could ever hope to learn in a lifetime. He may even be able to get you a compatible replacement if he can't straighten them.

    MRA Vario windscreen

Never experienced ant buffeting with the MRA either.... been up to 160... MPH... ahem, of course that was only on a track... ahem. ;)

    MRA Vario windscreen

I still get the full wind hitting my helmet, but that's partially due to the setup of my bike. It's a sport-tourer with a heavy lean towards the sport side so the windshield is fairly low. The stock windshield would hit me around mid-chest, with the Vario it hits me around the top of my...

    MRA Vario windscreen

I have one on my Triumph Sprint ST - works great. I have it at the highest position for highway travel and don't experience any buffeting. In the middle of the summer, especially in the city I will put it in the lowest position so that I can get more airflow at my chest level.

If he didn't give you a ticket, then you're all good. He likely got another call that took precedent. Consider yourself lucky!

    Condo Parking Theft Deterrent

I see the constant postings of stolen bikes from condo parking garages, this seems like a great security product... IF you can convince the building management to allow you to install it. http://www.bunkersecurity.com/motoparking/en/index.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkov81xuafM A bit...

    New bike help?

A wonky sidestand switch perhaps... try disconnecting the switch and see if it still happens.

    2 batteries

If your system is unable to power a gps, then there is definitely something wrong with either your stator or regulator/rectifier. The power draw on a gps is miniscule and if that's putting you over you need to get the electrical checked out, a second battery won't help.

    Rubber balled bit inside tire?

Dynabeads perhaps? They are used for balancing the tires instead of weights taped to your wheels.

How to tell if clutch is not disengaging

Engine speed should increase at a constant rate in relation to your road speed. If your engine revs a bit higher and your road speed has to catch up to the engine when you aren't touching your clutch, then your clutch is slipping.

How to tell if clutch is not disengaging

You are correct, but trying to explain the exact workings gets a bit convoluted... so for inreb: Clafification of the Official language - the clutch is engaged when the lever is fully released (allowing full power to transfer from engine to transmission) and clutch is disengaged when the...

    New Toronto Rider!

Welcome! The U-Haul motorcycle trailers are great. Cheap and easy to tow. It has a chock built into the front of it already, all you will need is to bring your own straps (or rent them). The extra insurance is $9, it's up to you whether you get that or not, I typically do just because...

How to tell if clutch is not disengaging

What frekeyguy said. If you adjust it according to the manual and leave a bit of slack in the line, this will allow the clutch springs to fully release and push the clutch plates together, therefore fully disengaging. If it didn't fully disengage, then you would likely experience clutch...
