Rogers place on Dixie road - is there a motorcycle parking?

Three of the four entrances have some motorcycle parking space set aside. It is not covered. https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=z-LFanPjPATY.kDK-7FVvprL0

Handlebar mounts and accessories on sport bikes? When bar space is limited...

RAM makes mount bases (the ball part) that mount to your clutch or brake reservoir. That might save you some space but I don't know if it would solve the interference problem with your fairings...

Is this mileage normal for a GS500F?

2001 or 2002 models switched from a 17 litre to a 20 litre tank. You can compare you fuel economy to other bikes of the same type on www.fuelly.com

    Digital Multimeter sale

lol.. How can they even market this as a multimeter ? It may as well be sold as a magic eight ball with wires. Jokes aside, I have a couple of cheap meters from CT that have always reported within one to two tenths of lab equipment (20 V scale) when the batteries weren't too run down. In my...

    GTA GS500 Meet Up

For those not familiar with the area, where exactly do you plan to meet? Is it the Tim Hortons on Leslie just north of Lake Shore?

    Gear cleaning in Brampton

Hey slowbird, I'm wondering what type of cleaning they are using? Is it dry cleaning or do they run them through a washing machine for you? I have a hi-viz Joe Rocket jacket and it is a real pain to clean. I recently put it through the washing machine twice in a row in order to get some of the...

    Too much oil!

Canadian tire sells miniature turkey basters designed for topping up battery cells which would work for removing oil as well. http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4/Auto/3/Batteries/BatteryMaintenanceTools/PRD~0110003P/Battery+Filler.jsp?locale=en Not as economical as the spray bottle method...

Newbie needs get with opinion on bike deal...

Hey Crom, every time someone asks about the price of a bike on this forum, the general response is "That price is way too high". My advice is, ignore other people's opinions of what a reasonable price is. Do your research and spend what you're comfortable spending. Look at other similar bikes on...

    Cold hands

I have a pair of Joe Rocket Ballistic gloves that are slightly insulated. I can wear a pair of those one size fits all mini gloves inside and am ok down to 10C or so. Easter weekend I rode 350km in 2C weather and just stopped every hour to stretch and regain feeling in my fingers.

    Jag 24, Brampton

Their FAQ says "tough jacket and pants". I imagine jeans are fine. Sheridan allowed them. http://www.learningcurves.ca/faq.html Have fun!

    Jag 24, Brampton

Hi Jag, it seems like that site is down right now but from my experience with the course at Sheridan, they are not too fussy about what type of glove you have for the course as long as they cover your wrist. It was raining and snowing the weekend I did the course last April so my gloves kept...

Rust under fairings, how do you get rid of it?

You could probably get by with painting that stuff on with the exhaust still on the bike. All you would need to do is remove the fairings to get at everything. If the rust isn't really heavy you could skip all the prep work that guy from the first link does. What kind of bike do you have?
