Correct. I cleaned the spark plug last night and was told I should try checking the air filter also. I don't have much experience with checking the carburetter jets but I will give that a try today.

Over the winter I neglected to put fuel stabilizer in a half full tank. After putting the battery back in I get the engine turning over and a low rumble but nothing more.
