Do you have a vintage motorcycle needing exercise?

It's the only bike I have, so I understand if it's not the right size of bike for this style of ride. I have a few tank bagsand am pretty good with paper and the odometer when I'm paying attention. I used to write out all my routes on lined paper using a map book and ruler. I also have a Garmin...

Do you have a vintage motorcycle needing exercise?

Appreciate you checking and sounds great. My bike is a Yamaha FZ1. It's listed as a 2002, but the VIN sticker shows it was made in Nov 2001.

Do you have a vintage motorcycle needing exercise?

Sounds like fun. I’ll join whenever they allow bikes made in 2001.

    Two Day Ride Ideas

if US is fine then Adirondack’s are also really nice and have amazing fall colours too. The Gatineau region where I just was last weekend is really beautiful and tons of nice riding and places to stay.

    2025 Newfoundland - errr... 2027?

Rather than start a new thread - reviving this one. In 2025 and 2026 I traveled to other places and so NFLD is back on my radar for 2027. Planning to do this over 18 days, sometime between Aug 14 - Sept 12, so that leaves about 2 weeks on the island. I'm going with one other rider (on an...

    2026 Rides

Went for a scoot to check out a pizza place in a town called Katrine - the place is called Katrine's Pizza and it's located at the back of their general store. Took me 7 hours to get there, only to find they were unexpectedly closed today. So I got pierogi food truck instead from Burks Falls...

    Covered Bridges Ride

The roads around Mont Laurier were pretty good overall and I'd say it's worth it to go back to explore more of that area. Not sure how many more paved roads there are beyond what I did, as there seemed to be a lot of gravel sideroads. It's generally a pretty scenic area and there's also lots to...

    Covered Bridges Ride

It's cuz of you that I have this bike. I was thinking about buying fancier bikes with tech and you suggested to give this old girl a look and when I started reading more about it, it sounded like the right bike for me. Honestly - it's so awesome and does everything I need out of a bike.

    Covered Bridges Ride

I rode through Wakefield and thought I saw a big one there or one of the towns nearby, but it was off the main road and I couldn't figure out how to get to it. If I wasn't trying to get back to the camp site to pack up, I would have tolled around to see which sideroad would take me there.

    Covered Bridges Ride

Thanks and 've honestly never paid any attention to them until this trip:) I really liked riding in Vermont too. That's a good excuse to go for a ride back to the northeastern states one day.

Need suggestion for ON/QC Destination for a 4-6 day basecamp with day rides.

Your description was spot on. The 307 was tons of fun and one of the more twisty roads I've been on on in Quebec. Amazing that it's so close to us. The 366 was a nice road too and I was surprised it was gravel and not paved for that stretch - it was pretty busy and all the vegetation at the side...

    Covered Bridges Ride

I was looking for a place for a few nights and use that spot as a base camp from which to explore. I had up to a week to go riding, but then at the last minute, the 2 guys I was going to go with had to back out due to last minute work and family stuff. As I called and checked online for camping...

Need suggestion for ON/QC Destination for a 4-6 day basecamp with day rides.

I’m camping in near Barry’s Bay and doing this loop tomorrow. It would be possible to do something similar from Perth area too, but more than 600km.

    Ppf motorcycle tank

Congrats on the bike! It’s one of the only Honda’s I would own and have been secretly lusting for one of those bikes for years. Very beautiful bike and good luck with the tank.

they didn't have that one there. The HJC's they had were all the lower tier offerings.
