The Nelson Rigg tail bag I have on my bike is pretty deep and swallowed it all. I brought a thick polar fleece blanket to wrap the forks in and then bungee corded them tight together and into the tail bag. Then put the shock nicely bubble wrapped in the same bag and strapped it down very snug...
Was lucky enough to get out for a couple nice rides this past week (but not many pics).
On Sunday went up for lunch to Haliburton with a couple guys riding Z1000's. Always wanted to own one of those early models. Started late for me (around 7:30am) and just wanted to get out and wear away the...
Very nice!
Did you ride on Harburn Rd then either to or from Fort Irwin?
Last year they were repaving a big section of it and I haven't been on it this year - one of my favourite combos is Harburn Rd to Haliburton Lake Rd.
Yeah no risers and no cable adjustments needed. I really liked how much better the bike handled with them. I'm always thinking about doing the same thing to my current bike too.
Here's a pic of my bike the day I bought it:
And here's the same bike a 6 months later with the Pro Taper bars...
Do you have the stock bars on your bike?
On my Strom I swapped over to the ProTaper ATV bars and it made my arms and upper body much more comfortable,
Similar to the risers, it allowed a natural bend at the elbows which is so much less fatiguing in the shoulders.
Both my FZ1’s have risers in...
I pay for the full Monty.
In 2006, I was off work for a year when hit head on and was getting the $400/week. I had a bunch of money saved so I was fine, and back then cost of living was much cheaper. Ever since that experience I’ll buy the extra coverage for income loss and caregiver supports...
If you can only do up to 400km each day and have 5 days max, then I would suggest that you stick to PA. You’ll get more backroads riding in and less interstate needed to get to and from your destinations.
If you can either double your daily distance or increase your trip length, then I would...
The last few tires I've bought (Michelin Road 6) were from Revco and they were at my door in 48 hrs.
And I always have a spare set of tires that have at least 50% tread in the garage, so if there ever was a delay, I'm still good for a while. Easy to do with one type of bike and size of tires...
Couple things to add here:
I won't grow in the ground anymore, because I want smaller plants that require less time & effort to trim and as Mike mentioned, I also want my plants to be able to be moved around if guests come over, or for other reasons. I'm looking for around 1/4lb per plant...
1999 VFR - 27k - looks like one owner and a steal of a deal.

There should be space. In my experience with these rides, by the time the day of the ride comes along, we usually have only about 4 people who end up coming. The first year we had a lot, but every year after that no more than 4.
