I am interested in this bike and asked my broker (Riders Choice) for a quote. THey said my current insurance company (Echelon) doesn't even cover it since they rate it as a super sport (wtf?) and another company wanted $2400 per year. I am over 25 and have clean record. What gives? Anyone else...
Quick review of the Racer5 intro to track program (stages 1-3).
Just completed a three day intro to track program put on by Racer5 at Grand Bend Motorplex, and I can highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in getting a taste of track riding (or just improve their bike handling).

Junction of Dundas and college, front wheel slipped out on the wet tracks. Broken brake lever, cracked fairing and scratched engine cover. Guess I can't say "never been dropped" now! Nothing that a few hundred bucks can't fix I guess. Be super careful downtown in the rain folks!
I am looking at upgrading from a 250 to a larger bike next season, and was checking on quotes with my state farm agent. It seems the premium is directly related to the size of the engine. These quotes were all for sport touring class bikes:
Engine Size : Premium per month
250cc : $65
500cc ...
