A number of years ago I saw pro's with battery mowers. Inverter/charger in the truck; spare batteries on hand. Technology is more advanced now; much improved. I talked to the guy. He loved them. It's the way to go these days.

I rode through there twice last week on a day trip to Ottawa. I saw pictures on the news showing the car more than halfway into the wrong lane, well over the centre line.

Last year I pulled the tranny out of mine and turned it upside down and drained it. Then I refilled it with the proprietary JD fluid recommended. It's over 20 years old. So far so good.

You can't beat a power ratchet for getting into a tight space where you can't swing the handle of a manual ratchet. Removing a starter is a good example.

Long holiday weekends are the worst time to venture far afield. Too much traffic, too many idiots, too many cops. I putted around town a bit like a squid this weekend; I'll save the longer trips for midweek.
